short sighted?

This picture isn't yet available on my photo homepage but it was published on the ASML calender of 2003.
It's a typical view on daily life of people in Indonesia. You will see people sleeping always and everywere. But maybe this one is just short sighted....?
Picture is taken in the Kraton in Yogyakarta.

As a bonus a nice photo from sulawesie.
I'm bussy scanning my photo's from Sulawesie, and will publish them soon on my photo.bastiaanssen.com page. By doing this I've finished the publisching of the best photos of my travelling through Java, Bali, Lombok and Sulawesie in 1996 and 1997.



I found this boy on the beach near Bira, in the south end of Sulawesie. Around here there's shipsyard where they still build (very big) wooden ships.

This picture is a scene from the open air Ramayana ballet in Prambanan.
Here you see shita captured in the magic circle of light...
I took this picture in 1996, but it still fascinates me!
